Lusby

Lusby and the run down to Solomons is water on both sides, and it shows in the exteriors. Decks weather fast, siding and trim take spray and sun, and paint fails early if the prep was rushed. We build and prep for that: composite decking on properly flashed frames, corrosion-resistant hardware, and exteriors washed, scraped, repaired, and primed before any topcoat.

The waterfront communities here also have a lot of homes from the seventies and eighties with small, closed-off kitchens and single bathrooms. Opening the plan and adding a real primary bath is the most common interior project we take on in Calvert.

We cross the Thomas Johnson Bridge regularly, so a Lusby estimate is a normal week for us, not a special trip.
